Spain is unique, exotic and enchanting. Explore three of Spain’s most famous regions: Madrid, Andalusia and Catalonia.

Wide boulevards, elegant parks, and flamenco dancing define vibrant Madrid. The Prado museum is one of the world’s foremost art museums and a repository for the Hapsburg monarchy’s riches. Collections reflect the personal tastes of past Monarchs: Reubens, El Greco, Velazquez and Goya are all well represented. The Royal Palace and adjoining Plaza are masterpieces of 18th century architecture and not to be missed.

Echoes of the Moors accompany you through the vast open spaces of Andalusia. Explore unforgettable cities, each with spectacular monuments, including Granada’s incomparable Alhambra and Cordoba’s Mezquita and Cathedral. Charming hilltop towns, olive groves and the blue Mediterranean are typical landscapes found in and around the Costa del Sol. Three half day excursions will include Malaga, Nerja, and Marbella.

Catalonia is a distinct autonomous region, with a separate culture and language. Barcelona is an exhilarating city and a major cultural centre comprised of unique neighbourhoods and districts. Explore the Ramblas, the heart of modern Barcelona, marvel at the incredible architecture of Antonio Gaudi, wander down to the ancient Gothic Quarter or visit the mountain slopes that served as a backdrop to the 1992 Olympic Games.
