Georgia Hardy Tours Inc. (GHT) is a market leader in providing first class educational travel services to discerning clientele including: young adults, students, special interest groups, universities and their alumni associations and cultural institutions such as museums and art galleries. Located in Toronto, we have been assisting clients for 30 years, servicing approximately 1500 youth and 600 adults annually. We pride ourselves on:

Company Officer Profiles
Georgia Hardy, President
Founder and travel connoisseur, Georgia has over 30 years of experience in educational travel. Having worked in all aspects of the travel industry, she has personally visited and conducted tour groups in over 50 countries around the world. Georgia customizes itineraries to fit special interest groups and has hands-on involvement with each and every client. She has lived in Europe, South America and Canada and has unlimited expertise and appreciation for these vastly differing cultures, customs and lands. Before starting Georgia Hardy Tours in 1987, she directed student travel services at Butterfield and Robinson.

George Hardy, Managing Director
George began his lifelong passion for travel during childhood, when he travelled every other year to Europe with his family. He learned about tolerance and acceptance, and to value the wide diversity that each country's culture has to offer. He believes that being different means being special. Learning and travelling should be fun. George received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. He spent five years in London, England, working in the area of corporate finance before returning to Canada in the early 1990s. He joined Georgia Hardy Tours in 1992 and is responsible for all educational travel programs.

Melina Mancini, Marketing Manager
Melina is an avid and experienced traveler with a passion for finding and sharing new and exciting locations. Raised in an Italian family in Canada, she is fluent in both Spanish and Italian. Melina began her traveling career at a very young age with frequent family trips to Italy. During university, Melina worked for the Georgia Hardy Tours & Celtic Learning Summer Program (2004, 2005) as a supervisor in Ireland and Scotland where she fell in love with educational travel.
Melina graduated with a double major Honours in Political Science and Italian Language and Culture from The University of Western Ontario (UWO). She was the first student from Western Ontario to study in Siena, Italy on the UWO study abroad program. Following university Melina moved to Madrid where she taught business language English courses to a variety of clients, including the European Commission. She subsequently moved to Scotland where she worked as a recruitment consultant.
Melina has has visited every one of the ‘Experience The World’ programme locations and knows and understands students’ needs and expectations intimately. Melina has considerable experience in organizing, planning and managing our trips, and would be delighted to answer any questions you may have. She would also be very pleased to help organize any trips for your school or organization.
